Meralco is looking for Civil Staff Engineer for Civil Standardization Team

JOB DESCRIPTION

Development of New Standard Building for Substation including the preparation of Architectural Plan, Structural Plan, Electrical Plan, Mechanical Plan, Sanitary Plan, Structural Calculation, Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities.
Development of New Standards (poles, structures, and line hardware) for Sub-Transmission and Distribution line.
Review conformance of existing standards with the local codes and standards (National Structural Code of the Philippines, Building Code of the Philippines)
Prepare Structural Analysis and Calculation of New and Existing Standards as part of Data Build-up
Prepare Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities
Review and update of standard design and drawings and preparation of structural analysis and report of the existing 566 Standards for Substation, Sub-Transmission, and Distribution Civil Facilities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer
Preferably has work experience/internship in similar field/industry (i.e. utility), newly Licensed Civil Engineers are also welcome to apply
Good problem-solving skills and in gathering and processing information
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies
Willing to work onsite (Ortigas, Pasig City)
