This position requires someone who can transform contract documents into accurate BIM models, support coordination activities, and generate construction-ready fabrication documents.
The role is ideal for an individual who brings at least five years of hands-on BIM experience, understands the demands of mechanical construction, and can work effectively alongside project managers, engineers, and field teams.
The BIM Detailer will develop coordinated models, identify and escalate MEP conflicts, prepare shop and field drawings, and maintain project BIM files according to company standards.
The role also includes performing engineering calculations, preparing detailed plans and schematics, producing presentation graphics, and ensuring that all project needs and deadlines are met.
Coordination with the field is essential, along with occasional office work to produce Trimble layout files.
Familiarity with Trimble technology is a critical requirement for success. Understanding jobsite safety, mechanical construction processes, and fabrication workflows is also important.
