Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented MEP BIM Specialist with strong Revit experience to support the design and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role will be responsible for developing high-quality BIM models, ensuring clash-free coordination, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed BIM models for MEP systems using Revit
- Generate 2D drawings, layouts, and construction documents from BIM models
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or similar tools
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams
- Ensure all models meet BIM standards, project requirements, and client expectations
- Update models based on RFIs, design revisions, and field changes
- Participate in coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts
- Assist with quantity take-offs and model-based documentation
- Maintain and improve BIM libraries, templates, and workflows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in MEP BIM modeling
- Strong hands-on experience with Revit (MEP) is required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks
- Solid understanding of MEP systems and construction coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
