Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Building Engineer/Technician, located in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems, performing preventative maintenance, managing facility operations, and addressing plumbing and related maintenance tasks. They will collaborate with property management teams to ensure the safety, functionality, and sustainability of the building infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Experience in Building Maintenance, Facility Management (FM), and Preventive Maintenance
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair tasks and the ability to troubleshoot building systems
- Knowledge and skills in basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to handle on-call emergencies and adjust schedules as needed
- Proven experience working in commercial or residential building environments
- Relevant certifications in facility management or building maintenance are a plus
