A well:established, design:led architectural practice is looking to appoint a talented Architect to join its Cardiff studio. With over 50 years of delivering high:quality, sustainable projects across the UK and internationally, the practice has built a strong reputation for commercially successful, user:focused design. The team works across architecture, urban design, and masterplanning, with experience spanning mixed:use, retail, leisure, residential, and workplace sectors.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and support projects across a range of RIBA stages
- Develop design proposals from concept through to technical delivery
- Produce and review detailed drawings, specifications, and construction information
- Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
- Attend and lead meetings, presentations, and site visits
Requirements
- ARB:registered Architect with a recognised qualification
- Demonstrable experience within a UK architectural practice
- Strong design and technical capability across all project stages
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
- Proficiency in Revit; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and organised approach
