We are looking for individuals to join our Building and Infrastructure Programme Centre where you will work with multi-disciplinary teams in DSTA to shape and enhance the capabilities of our defence facilities to support SAF operational needs.
This Role Will Require You To
- Support the planning, design, tender and contract management of the construction of defence facilities
- Conduct front end studies and architecture planning to develop masterplan and architecture design to support SAF’s operational requirement
- Develop concept and schematic designs, carry out feasibility studies, design/integrate and present design proposals
- Provide sound architectural solutions that comply with statutory regulations and Codes and safety, smart/ IT, quality and standards
- Drive design consistency, BIM, Integrated Digital Delivery, value engineering and review progress to ensure performance, cost and schedule of projects are met
- Conduct technology horizon scanning, technical assessment for potential project insertion to promote sustainability, construction productivity and safety
- Engage stakeholders and collaborate with consultants and contractors on design
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture from a University recognized by the Board of Architects, Singapore
- Preferably registered with BOA, or willing to register with BOA within the next 2 to 3 years
- Proficient in Revit BIM, SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3D modelling rendering skill, VR tools, Enscape
- Strong design flair and good knowledge of presentation software and programs. Knowledge of BIM Management and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) would be an advantage
- Preferably with experience or interest in institution, office and interior design, Environmental Sustainability and Sustainable Building Design
- Keen interest in programming and digital skills e.g. Computational Design
- Good team player with good analytical and communication skills
