Job Title: Civil/Architectural

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil/Architectural Inspector with strong expertise in architectural finishes and inspections, particularly within consultancy and post-contract supervision environments.
- Experienced candidate with significant exposure to architectural inspections and high-quality finishing works (e.g., fit-outs, façade works, joinery, flooring, waterproofing,Fire retardant (fire-rated) doors and final finishes)
- Proven experience in Engineering Consultancy and post-contract supervision within UAE
- Strong hands-on experience in reviewing and inspecting architectural works and finishes in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and carry out architectural inspections, with a primary focus on finishing works quality, compliance, and detailing
- Attend and review Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors, ensuring timely and accurate approvals/rejections
- Review shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards, with emphasis on architectural details and finishes
- Closely monitor finishing activities on site, ensuring workmanship meets the highest quality standards
- Identify and report non-compliance in architectural and finishing works, and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and stakeholders
- Prepare snagging lists, surveillance reports, and NCRs, particularly related to architectural deficiencies and finishing issues
- Ensure proper coordination between architectural finishes and other disciplines (MEP, structural, etc.)
- Maintain detailed site records, including progress reports and photographic documentation of finishes and inspections
- Provide technical guidance and solutions related to architectural works and finishing challenges on site
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during finishing and inspection activities
