Job Title: Chief Bldg Engineer
Duration: 4 Months (Contract to Hire)
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32218
Shift: M-F 8am - 4pm
Team Overview:
Working with a maintenance technician
Resource's typical working day:
- Morning meeting to confirm work for the day
- Conducts maintenance activities
- Generators
- HVAC
- Compressors
- Cooling towers
- Plumbing
- Lighting
- Faulty doors
- Mechanical issues
- Planning next day's maintenance activities for themselves and other tech
Licenses/Certifications:
Must Have Skills:
- Maintenance planning skills are a must
- Previous maintenance experience is a manufacturing facility
- Ability to adhere and thrive in rigorous safety policies
Nice to have skills:
- Commercial HVAC experience highly preferred Basic plumbing and electric aptitude
- Boiler experience
Soft Skills:
- High level of professionalism
- Ability to brief maintenance priorities to the client in hiring manager's absence
- Excellent customer service
