Stephen Carr Architects is a well-established architectural practice based in Wexford. We are looking for a motivated Architectural Technologist or Junior Architect to join our collaborative and design-focused team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and gain hands-on experience across all project stages, from concept through to completion. The right candidate may wish to rise in the practice to a senior position, with a long term career position available.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualification in Architectural Technologist or Architecture, NFQ Level 8.
- +-5 years’ post-graduate experience
- Strong interest in technical detailing and building construction.
- Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and good understanding of compliance processes
- Developed experience with planning applications, and some experience coordinating Fire & Access Certificates.
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Photoshop.
- Interest & experience in visual presentation drawings and documentation
- Interest & experience in project management and project delivery
- Career focused, self motivated individual with a proactive approach to work
- An ambassador of SC Architects practice with a long term career view
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
