Thanks to the great successes encountered by the initial range of product over last few years, Fallprotec develops increasingly complex and technologic products such as autonomous hoist, robots… through self-founded R&D projects. Today, Fallprotec UK is an independent disruptor in the fall protection and façade access sector that has grown over 50% in the last 12 months predominately due to special projects and partnering with a wide range of specialist rope access and height safety companies.

Our goal is that you get quickly integrated to become independent and carry out projects with international colleagues and with consultants, installers and contractors.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Within the global Engineering department but based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire in collaboration with UK sales and clients your task is to:
• Design components according to the technical requirements and specifications.
• Optimise the concepts and designs with analytical and mechanical assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering team to achieve integrated and optimised solutions.
• Create conceptual and manufacturing shop drawings (2D and 3D).
• Involved within project management process as project designer (possibility to evolve as a project manager)
• Contribute in improving systems and communication with partners, the processes or any other activity within the company.
ESSENTIAL REQUIEREMENTS
• Education: Degree in Mechanical/ Industrial designing/drafting
• Experience: Industrial and Construction related, preference having worked in the fall protection industry
EXPERIENCES/SKILLS
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Design experience (2D and 3D). Mandatory INVENTOR - AUTOCAD
• Good understanding of technical requirements to translate them into drawings
• Sense of responsibility and urgency - Showing initiative, being proactive
• Good analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Must be detail focused.
• Able to work under pressure and in autonomy
• Teamwork
• English: Able to communicate within a technical environment.
• Any other language would be an advantage.

Founded in 2025, the company operates within the construction industry and has gained significant traction in the past 18 months due to an independent approach, innovating product ranges and new market penetration.
Remuneration package: depending on experience.
Location: 2-3 days a week at offices in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
