Qualifications
– Professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution
– 15 or more years of professional experience
– Licensed Duties and Key Responsibilities
— Coordinate directly with project manager and project designer to supervise the team’s design and technical delivery.
— Coordinate projects and consultant teams.
— Assess professional development needs and provide mentoring within teams.
— Primary point of contact for engineering and technical design consultants during design phases.
— Lead consultant coordination meetings, direct design integration efforts, and ensure consultant deliverables align with design intent, codes, and project standards.
— Coordinate phased quality assurance and constructability reviews.
— Write and coordinate technical sections of project specifications.
— Coordinate front-end specifications.
— Apply working knowledge of building and zoning codes, resolving design issues and leading responses to officials.
— Apply knowledge of construction administration issuance types (Addendum, PD, PR, ASI, RFI) and their applications.
— Strong working knowledge of design delivery tools (Revit, AutoCAD).
— Assist in research and selection of materials.
— Lead construction administration and post-occupancy review process independently.
— Understand various construction delivery methods (CMaR, CMA, GC) and coordinate deliverables accordingly.
