Job Description: Junior Draughtsman – Façade & Cladding
We are seeking a motivated and talented
Junior Draughtsman to join our dynamic
Façade & Cladding team. This is an entry-level role designed for a fresh graduate who is eager to kickstart their career, learn advanced technical systems, and contribute to landmark architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Detailing: Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed shop drawings and production drawings for façade and cladding systems using AutoCAD.
- Technical Review: Read, interpret, and analyze architectural and structural design drawings.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and the design team to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
- Continuous Learning: Actively develop knowledge of fabrication processes, installation methods, and standard cladding materials.
- Quality Control: Ensure all drafted layouts and designs adhere to company standards and project specifications.
Requirements & QualificationsEducation
- Fresh Graduate with a Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design, or a closely related technical field.
Technical Skills
- AutoCAD Proficiency: Strong foundational skills in 2D drafting and modeling.
- BIM & 3D Tools (Preferred): Basic knowledge of—or a strong willingness to learn—Rhino or BIM tools (Revit / Navisworks).
- Drawing Interpretation: Solid ability to read and understand complex architectural/technical blueprints.
Soft Skills
- A strong eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow specifically within the façade and cladding sector.
