Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Residential Architect based in Woodbury, NY. The selected candidate will design and oversee residential architectural projects, develop creative and functional architectural solutions, and ensure project compliance with budget and timelines. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients, preparing detailed architectural plans, integrating systems into designs, and managing various stages of project development from conception to completion.
Residential Architect/Drafter with Revit experience. All projects are completed in Revit from design development to construction documents, and the candidate must demonstrate strong Revit experience; having residential Revit experience is a plus.
Ideal Candidate:
- Perform existing condition site surveys
- Basic zoning research of local Long Island Jurisdictions.
- Understand single-family residential construction
- Assist/ Lead production of design development and construction documentation.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills.
- Have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
Requirements:
- Proven Revit Experience and can navigate Revit with little assistance. Able to develop detailed 3D models of residential structures.
- BArch (5 Year) or BS in Architecture (4 Year) preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A willingness and desire to learn and grow professionally.
