Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Building Engineer located in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The Building Engineer will be responsible for overseeing our Atlanta Flex/Industrial Portfolio which includes performing exterior building maintenance, addressing plumbing needs, executing general maintenance and repair tasks, and conducting preventive maintenance. The Building Engineer will also work closely with the Director of Engineering assisting with major projects and tenant improvements. This role is vital in ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient building operations while maintaining property standards and addressing tenant needs effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Building Maintenance and Facility Management
- Experience in Plumbing and Preventive Maintenance
- Skilled in executing Maintenance and Repair tasks
- Ability to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and structural issues efficiently
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Relevant certifications, such as HVAC or CFC certification, are a plus
- Experience in commercial property management is a strong advantage
