Job Description – Liaison Architect
Experience Required: 2–3 Years
Location: Team One Architects India Pvt. Ltd. – Mumbai
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Liaison Architect to manage approvals, authority coordination, and statutory compliance processes for commercial interior and architectural projects. The role requires regular interaction with government authorities, consultants, landlords, and internal project teams to ensure timely approvals and smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle liaisoning activities with government and semi-government authorities.
- Coordinate for approvals related to:
- Building permissions
- Fire NOC
- Occupation Certificate (OC)
- Commencement Certificate (CC)
- Municipal approvals
- Architectural permissions
- Follow up with clients, landlords, consultants, and approval agencies for documentation and clearances.
- Prepare, submit, and track architectural drawings and approval documents.
- Coordinate with design, project, and MEP teams for authority compliance requirements.
- Maintain records of approvals, submissions, and statutory documents.
- Visit authority offices and project sites as required.
- Ensure all approvals are obtained within project timelines.
- Support management in resolving approval-related issues and escalations.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of approval processes and statutory regulations.
- Familiarity with commercial interior fit-out and architectural projects.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and basic architectural documentation.
- Understanding of local municipal norms and authority procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Architecture or related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant liaisoning experience in architecture/interior fit-out firms, developers, or PMC companies.
