This role supports our entire brand portfolio, including our primary turnkey business, Architectural Fabrication, and our growing distribution channel, Alumination Architectural Products.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating fleet requirements and compliance, tool management, coordinating and delivery of unplanned materials required for field operations. The successful candidate will oversee tool and equipment inventory control and manage vehicle tracking systems. This role ensures the right resources are in place for timely, efficient project execution and health of fleet vehicles and trailers.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Operations & Asset Tracking
Manage Geotab trackers (installation, battery replacements) and the Geotab system features.
Coordinate vehicle repairs, general maintenance, and minor fixes (fuses, spare tires) with repair shops in conjunction with our Enterprise Fleet Management Program (Efleets).
Set up and outfit new trucks and trailers with proper equipment and documentation to be 100% operational, including but not limited to registrations, inspections, and record keeping.
Keep truck and trailer records updated with photos and data in Salesforce.
Coordinate and improve parking logistics at Headquarters for trucks and trailers.
Material Management, Subcontractor Loading and Install Logistics
Coordinate the pickup and delivery of critical installation materials (foam, concrete, hardware, missing material, etc.).
This person will be expected to schedule and drive directly to field crews for urgent material and tool requests within the DFW metroplex. Must have the availability to drive outside of the metroplex under limited special circumstances.
Track active material requests to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Help Senior staff and Field Supervisors load materials for crews and subcontractors when necessary
Ability to work overtime when requested
Inventory Control & Tool Management
Partner with the safety team (QHSE) to manage Hilti tool repair exchanges as well as issuing and record keeping.
Pickup and delivery of necessary tool exchanges or requests.
Manage inventory, track requests, and prepare special equipment (like generators and saws) for the field.
Inspect specialized tools regularly and replace old or worn-out gear.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Physical able to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy tools and materials (up to 75 lbs)
Experience safely driving large trucks and pulling / backing 30–32ft trailers, including hitching, securing heavy cargo, and performing safety inspections.
Basic computer skills, including Google Drive, Docs, and Mail, and the ability to efficiently use other softwares
Experience operating forklifts and other loading equipment.
