Our Facilities Engineering team operates the critical systems that keep Seagate’s high‑tech manufacturing environment running safely, reliably, and efficiently. We manage and monitor essential plant infrastructure such as Process Cooling Water (PCW), air compressors, nitrogen systems, chiller systems, cleanroom and non‑cleanroom M&E services, wastewater (AWN) treatment systems, and general building maintenance. We partner closely with manufacturing and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless operations across both electrical and mechanical disciplines
About The Role - You Will
As a Facilities Engineering Specialist IV, you will support operations through hands‑on monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining a wide range of facility systems.
Your Responsibilities Include
- Performing daily equipment monitoring using established checklists.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing facilities equipment issues.
- Coordinating preventive maintenance, upgrade, and retrofit activities.
- Executing basic building repair and maintenance tasks.
- Tracking and reporting monthly utilities consumption and space utilization.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Demonstrates strong teamwork, motivation, and willingness to learn.
- Has basic understanding of electrical or mechanical systems.
- Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to developing technical skills.
- Is able to work rotating 12‑hour shifts.
Your Experience Includes
- Technical foundation in electrical/mechanical systems with ITE or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or Air‑Conditioning.
- Good communication skills in English (spoken & written).
- Experience in cleanroom and non‑cleanroom environments.
- Hands‑on exposure to air‑conditioning, electrical systems, air compressors, and general building services.
- Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving ability, especially in troubleshooting breakdowns.
