Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Site Coordination
- Assist in planning, designing, and supervising construction and infrastructure projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and site activities to ensure completion within budget and schedule.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction activities.
Estimation & Documentation
- Prepare and review cost estimates, material requirements, and labor projections for construction projects.
- Analyze project data, technical reports, and engineering drawings to support project planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
Technical & Operational Support
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Support procurement processes by coordinating material and equipment requirements.
- Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other engineering professionals on project implementation.
Key Competencies / Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and engineering/project management tools.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and project coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Knowledge of construction materials, cost estimation, and labor planning.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, site supervision, or civil engineering projects.
- Experience with project estimation, planning, or construction documentation is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering design software is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and engineering compliance requirements.
