Job purpose:
- The General Manager is responsible for leading the overall façade business function, driving strategic direction, operational excellence, and commercial performance across all façade projects.
- This role involves overseeing multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering, and project delivery, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, client expectations, project timelines, and budget objectives.
- He shall ensure the successful execution of façade solutions from concept to completion, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in alignment with Sobha standards and business objectives.
- The role drives innovation, enables effective stakeholder collaboration, and ensures façade systems achieve technical reliability, architectural excellence, and environmental sustainability
- Additionally, he is accountable for business growth, profitability, client relationships, and positioning the organization as a leader in façade design and engineering.

- Lead and ensure effective coordination between Dubai and India teams, aligning design standards, project execution strategies, resource utilization, and communication to achieve seamless global project delivery.
- Lead and oversee the entire façade business function, including design, engineering, project delivery, and commercial performance.
- Provide strategic direction to façade teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation, capability development, and high-performance delivery.
- Establish and approve design standards, technical frameworks, and engineering methodologies for all façade projects.
- Ensure all façade solutions comply with local and international codes, safety regulations, and sustainability requirements.
- Drive alignment between façade design, project execution, and overall organizational objectives.
- Oversee project performance, including timelines, budgets, quality, and risk management across multiple projects.
- Provide high-level technical leadership on façade systems, materials, and advanced technologies.
- Lead critical design reviews, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure robust engineering solutions.
- Foster strong collaboration with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Lead client engagement, including presentations, negotiations, and resolution of escalations.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of emerging façade technologies and best practices.
- Develop and mentor senior team members, building leadership capability and succession within the organization.
- Monitor and enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and quality standards across projects.
- Oversee preparation and review of key technical submissions, reports, and executive updates.

Primary tasks & activities:
- Drive effective coordination and integration between Dubai and India operations, ensuring alignment in design standards, project execution strategies, resource optimization, and knowledge sharing to enable seamless and efficient global project delivery
- Develop and implement strategic plans, project frameworks, and execution methodologies for façade operations across projects.
- Oversee and optimize resource allocation across multiple projects, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and timely delivery.
- Drive coordination and integration across multidisciplinary teams, clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and global offices to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide executive oversight and approval of key design concepts, technical submissions, engineering calculations, and project deliverables.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes, conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide high-level technical direction to address complex challenges related to façade systems, materials, constructability, and performance.
- Identify project and business risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies at both project and organizational levels.
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior team members, fostering leadership capability and a high-performance culture across the façade division.
- Delegate responsibilities at a managerial level, monitor performance metrics, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and project milestones.
- Engage with key clients and stakeholders, managing relationships, resolving escalations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Lead high-level presentations, technical reviews, and strategic discussions with clients, consultants, and senior management.
- Ensure all façade designs and project activities comply with applicable codes, industry standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability goals.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates, integrating best practices into business operations.
- Oversee documentation control systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability of all project-related records.
- Drive innovation by promoting the adoption of advanced materials, digital tools (BIM), and sustainable façade solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation across all teams.
- Ensure effective coordination between PNCA–Dubai and PNCA–India teams, enabling standardized practices, resource optimization, and seamless global project delivery.
Educational Qualifications:
- B. E / B. Tech/Civil Engineering/Diploma Mechanical/ Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) or Equivalent Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
- 12 - 18 years of extensive experience in façade design within contractor or consultancy domain, with a strong track record in leading and delivering complex façade projects.
Functional Competencies: Should have adequate knowledge of / Proficiency in:
- BIM / Revit and other design software
- AUTO CAD 2D & 3D
- MS Office (all packages)
- Inventor (preferable)
- Basic Structural knowledge
