- Job Title: BIM Modeler – Architectural & Interior Design.
- Summary: Responsible for creating, updating, and managing detailed architectural and interior BIM models, views, drawings, and visualizations for residential, commercial, hospitality, and corporate projects, ensuring coordination, quality, and compliance with project standards
- Experience: 4–7 years in BIM/architectural or interior projects, coordination experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop accurate 3D architectural and interior models in Revit (LOD 200–350) based on sketches, 2D drawings, and design inputs.
- Create plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and sheets from the BIM model, ensuring consistency with design intent and local codes as guided by the architect.
- Model interior layouts, furniture, joinery, ceilings, lighting, finishes, and materials, including parametric families and reusable content.
- Coordinate architectural and interior models with structural and MEP models; identify and flag clashes or discrepancies to the BIM Lead/Architect.
- Work within BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud for model sharing, issue tracking, version control, and adherence to office BIM standards.
- Use SketchUp for quick massing, concept models, or imported geometry when required, and link/import into Revit where appropriate.
- Produce high-quality still renders, animations, and simple walkthroughs using D5 and/or Twinmotion, including lighting, materials, entourage, and camera paths for client presentations.
- Maintain model cleanliness: correct worksets, naming conventions, parameters, templates, and libraries as per company BIM protocols.
- Assist in quantity take‑off, basic schedules (areas, doors, finishes, furniture) and extract as required by the project team.
- Participate in internal design/BIM review meetings, record model updates, and deliver on time as per the project schedule.
- Scan-to-BIM: Experience working with Point Cloud data (Recap)
Required skills and software
- Strong hands-on Revit (Architecture) skills for architectural and interior modeling, family creation, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of BIM 360 (Docs/Design/Collaborate) for cloud collaboration, model sharing, and coordination.
- Good SketchUp skills for conceptual modeling and quick design options, with ability to manage layers, groups, and components.
- Experience in at least one real-time rendering tool: D5 or Twinmotion, with understanding of PBR materials, lighting, assets, and animation basics.
- Understanding of architectural and interior drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details), basic building services awareness, and Indian building practices.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow BIM standards, good file and data management, and clear communication with architects and coordinators.

- Experience: 4–7 years in BIM MEP projects, coordination experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain MEP 3D models in Revit MEP from design inputs, including system routing with clearances and parametric family creation.
- Develop an accurate 3D model in Revit (LOD 200–350) based on sketches, 2D drawings, and design inputs.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks, resolve conflicts between MEP, architectural, and structural elements, and prepare coordination drawings.
- Assist in project setup on BIM 360, ensure model compliance with ISO standards and building codes, and meet delivery timelines under the BIM managers.
- Team collaboration, adherence to standards, ability to read drawings and work with project timelines.
- Coordinate architectural and interior models with structural and MEP models; identify and flag clashes or discrepancies to the BIM Lead/MEP.
- Work within BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud for model sharing, issue tracking, version control, and adherence to office BIM standards.
