We have an immediate and critical requirement for a BIM Coordinator role based in Munich, Germany.
📌 Role Details
- Title: BIM Coordinator
- Location: Munich, Germany
- Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days/week at client office – mandatory)
🎓 Education
- B.Tech / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Or equivalent qualification as per German standards
🌍 Language & Visa Requirements
- German proficiency (Mandatory): Minimum C1 level (Business/Technical)
- Valid Germany/EU work visa (Mandatory)
🏗️ Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in BIM QA/QC delivery
- Experience with industrial plants / large building facilities
- Prior exposure to on-site project environments, especially manufacturing/factory setups
⚙️ Domain Knowledge (Mandatory)
Strong understanding of:
- Manufacturing / factory plant layouts
- Production equipment & machinery
- Utilities (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection)
- Pipe racks, service corridors, and technical spaces
- Point cloud data (3D laser scanning) for as-built / brownfield projects
➕ Good to Have
- Scan-to-BIM workflows
- Brownfield / as-built modeling
- Site survey data & plant coordinate systems
🛠️ Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Autodesk Revit (2023–2025)
- AutoCAD (2023–2025)
- Autodesk ReCap
- Dynamo scripting & Revit add-ins troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of shared coordinates & survey points
📋 Key Responsibilities
Project Setup (Mandatory):
- Convert E57 point clouds to RCP using ReCap
- Create central Revit files using standard templates
Coordinate Management (Mandatory):
- Execute positioning procedures
- Establish Global Network Points (GNP)
- Ensure accurate Z-coordinate alignment
- Manage SAP-RE-FX Add-in & Dynamo scripts
Template & Standards (Mandatory):
- Enforce shared parameters & export layer standards
Deliverables QA/QC (Mandatory):
- Validate IFC, DWG, and JSON outputs
- Ensure compliance with client MVDs & layer mappings
