Role Description:
We are seeking a Civil Procurement Engineerto manage the procurement of long-lead items and materials required for infrastructure projects, issue LPOs, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Your tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
- Send inquiries to potential suppliers and collect quotations in accordance with project requirements.
- Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers.
- Prepare comparison sheets and obtain approval from the procurement committee to select the most suitable supplier.
- Issue and send confirmation letters/LPOs to the selected supplier, enabling them to submit materials to the relevant project for consultant approval.
- Support the project team by following up with suppliers on material submittals as needed.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement management within the infrastructure sector.
