Role Description As an Architect at TERRA INCOGNITA, you will work on the full lifecycle of architectural projects, from concept development to detailed design and execution. In this full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, you will prepare drawings, plans, and 3D visualizations, and coordinate with clients to understand requirements, budgets, and timelines. You will collaborate with interior designers, landscape specialists, consultants, and contractors to ensure design integrity, regulatory compliance, and technical feasibility. Daily responsibilities include site visits, design iterations, documentation for approvals, and coordination with authorities for permits and clearances. You will also support project management activities, track progress against milestones, and help resolve design or construction challenges as they arise.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetic, and sustainable solutions.
- Experience with project planning and coordination, including Project Management skills related to timelines, budgets, and multi-stakeholder communication.
- Familiarity with Integration of architectural concepts with structural, MEP, and interior systems, ensuring cohesive and buildable designs.
- Proficiency in relevant architectural software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and comfort working with digital design workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution; registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes, especially for Chandigarh and surrounding regions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and work on-site as required.
