We are looking for a Duty Engineer to join our team
Your Primary Role
Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of hotel facilities and equipment. Provide guests and colleagues with a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment.
As an Duty Engineer, we rely on you to - Conducts regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff requests regarding engineering or maintenance issues.
- Monitor and operate key systems i.e. Fire Alarm System, Building Management System (BMS) and report irregularities.
- Carry out troubleshooting and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and system failures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Supervise external/internal contractors and vendors during maintenance or repair works.
- Support energy conservation initiatives and sustainability practices in the property.
- Assist in training and guiding junior engineering team members.
- Be on standby duty as rostered, handling urgent & emergency situations efficiently.
