Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Building Engineer role located in Metro,Manila. The Building Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, inspection, and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing building equipment, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and responding to service requests in a timely manner. The role also involves monitoring building conditions, documenting maintenance activities, and supporting facility management in ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operation. The Building Engineer will collaborate with on-site teams to minimize downtime, optimize building performance, and provide a safe, comfortable environment for occupants.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Building Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair for building systems and equipment.
- Hands-on experience with Plumbing systems, including routine inspection, repair, and basic installation.
- Knowledge of Facility Management (FM) principles, including coordination with vendors and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Experience planning and executing Preventive Maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Technical or vocational training in engineering, building technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and building plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work on-site, including occasional shifts, weekends, or emergency call-outs as needed.
