About the Role:
BÖWE is an award-winning architecture and design firm seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer Fit-Out to join our team in Kuwait.
This role is ideal for candidates currently residing in Kuwait with a valid transferable residency and with around 5 years of experience in construction, interior fit-out, site supervision, and project coordination.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal design teams, while ensuring that all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project timelines, and client requirements.
Project & Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in site supervision for interior fit-out and construction projects.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, finishing works, materials, and site execution standards.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, shop drawings, reflected ceiling plans, joinery details, MEP coordination drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience in coordinating fit-out works including civil, gypsum, flooring, painting, joinery, glass, metal, MEP, lighting, and finishing works.
- Ability to monitor site progress, manpower, materials, subcontractors, and daily work activities.
- Strong understanding of quality control, site safety, project timelines, and work sequencing.
- Ability to identify site issues, technical conflicts, delays, and coordination problems, and report them clearly to the Project Manager.
- Good communication skills with contractors, suppliers, consultants, clients, and internal departments.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and follow-up skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review drawings, shop drawings, technical details, and site instructions before execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved project schedule.
- Check quality of materials, workmanship, installation, and finishing works on site.
- Ensure that all fit-out works are aligned with approved design, client requirements, and BÖWE quality standards.
- Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid conflicts between architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing works.
- Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, material requests, and work status reports.
- Follow up on material delivery, subcontractor attendance, manpower allocation, and site requirements.
- Identify site obstacles, delays, technical issues, and variation items, and report them to the Project Manager.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate required actions with all related parties.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and maintain proper site organization.
- Support project handover activities, snagging, rectification works, and final inspections.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including approvals, inspection records, progress photos, and site correspondence.

Required Software Skills:
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Microsoft Project is an advantage
- Revit knowledge is an advantage
- Project reporting and documentation tools
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience in site engineering, project engineering, fit-out supervision, or construction site coordination.
- Strong experience in interior fit-out, finishing works, and construction execution.
- Good knowledge of materials, shop drawings, site measurements, and installation standards.
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural, civil, and MEP drawings.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and progress monitoring skills.
- Ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers, manpower, and site activities.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage.
- Valid transferable Kuwait residency is required.
- Candidates currently based in Kuwait are preferred.
- Immediate joining or short notice availability is preferred.
