We are seeking an experienced Pre-Contract Estimator to join a leading construction business in Dubai. This role is suited to a Civil Engineer with strong pre-contract, tendering, and cost estimation experience within a main contractor environment.

You will be responsible for managing full pre-contract estimating activities, including tender analysis, pricing strategy, and cost planning to support competitive and successful project bids.

Key Responsibilitie

sPrepare detailed pre-contract cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions based on drawings, specifications, and project requirement
sReview and analyse tender documents, contract conditions, and technical data to ensure full project understandin
gDevelop pricing strategies, cost plans, and risk assessments to enhance bid competitivenes
sEvaluate alternative construction methodologies and solutions to identify the most cost-effective approac
hManage the full tendering process, ensuring accurate and timely submission deadlines are me
tMaintain and update cost databases and benchmarking data using Candy (CCS) or similar estimation softwar
eNegotiate and finalise pricing with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive and compliant quote
sBuild and maintain strong supply chain and stakeholder relationships to support successful biddin
gSupport commercial activities, including tender clarifications, client engagement, and bid strategy alignmen
tPrepare project budgets for handover to operations and conduct feasibility studies and cost variation analysi
sReview completed projects to assess pricing accuracy and cost performance, feeding insights into future tender
