Senior Architect
The Opportunity
Y.A. Studio is seeking a Project Architect to join our design-focused practice at a pivotal moment of growth.
This role is ideal for a technically strong architect with meaningful multi-family housing experience who wants real ownership (not just production responsibility) across all phases of a project.
You will work directly with firm leadership and consultants from schematic design through construction administration, contributing to projects that shape communities across California and Nevada.

Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to design development across project types
- Prepare and coordinate construction documents
- Manage consultant coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Participate in client and agency meetings
- Support construction administration efforts
- Mentor junior staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- 8+ years of professional experience
- Significant multi-family housing experience
- California Architectural License preferred (or on path)
- Advanced Revit proficiency
- Strong technical detailing and documentation skills
- Clear communication and organizational discipline
- Ability to manage deadlines and collaborate in a hybrid environment
