Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Kottayam. The Architect will participate in all stages of the design process, including concept development, schematic and detailed design, preparation of drawings and 3D visualizations, and coordination with consultants and vendors. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site visits and analyses, preparing design presentations, developing construction documentation, and supporting the team in ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with local regulations. The role involves close collaboration with clients to understand their needs, refine design solutions, and address feedback throughout the project lifecycle. The Architect will also contribute to project management activities such as tracking timelines, supporting quality control, and assisting in overseeing execution on site.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop context-responsive, sustainable, and functional solutions.
- Experience with Software Development and Integration in the architectural context (e.g., BIM workflows, interoperability between design tools and project management systems).
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, coordination with stakeholders, and monitoring project progress.
- Proficiency in relevant design and visualization software (such as AutoCAD, Revit/BIM tools, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar) and basic familiarity with rendering tools.
- Accredited degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) and eligibility to work in India; professional registration or progress toward registration is an advantage.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and engage constructively with clients and contractors.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and openness to learning from both contemporary practice and traditional architectural wisdom.
