Role Description The Building Management Systems Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining building management systems (BMS) and related control systems to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operation of facilities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with facility management teams, and optimizing building services such as HVAC, lighting, and energy management. The engineer will collaborate with project managers, ICT specialists, and external vendors to integrate BMS solutions with broader digital infrastructure. The role also involves preparing documentation, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and local regulations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering or related fields.
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on BMS and automation experience. KSA project experience is a mandatory requirement.
• Proficiency with leading BMS platforms such as Siemens Desigo CC, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls.
• Strong working knowledge of BACnet/IP, Modbus, and KNX integration protocols.
• Demonstrated experience reading and producing control schematics, point schedules, and I/O drawings.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, DDC controllers, and field devices including sensors, actuators, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Excellent technical communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and consultants.
