Role Overview
Zutari is seeking a
Façade Inspector to support the construction-stage delivery of a landmark
high-rise curtain wall project in Kigali. The role is suited to a mid-senior professional with solid experience in
façade inspection, quality assurance, and site monitoring for complex building envelope systems, particularly
unitised and stick curtain wall installations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing façade
shop drawings, monitoring
fabrication and installation quality, carrying out
site inspections, tracking
non-conformances, and supporting compliance with approved drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures, and project standards. The role will work closely with the contractor, project managers, consultants, and Zutari’s senior façade engineering team to ensure consistent quality control and technical assurance throughout the installation process.
Candidates should have practical experience in
high-rise façade construction, including curtain wall systems, glazing, sealants, interfaces, brackets, tolerances, and installation sequencing. Strong reporting, coordination, and quality documentation skills are essential.
Minimum Requirements
- BSc in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in façade inspection, façade construction, or building envelope delivery
- Experience on high-rise curtain wall projects
- Professional registration would be an added advantage
- This is an 18-month fixed-term, site-based role in Kigali, offered with a competitive salary and applicable allowances and benefits, including relocation and travel support where relevant.
