A well-established architecture and design practice is seeking an experienced Architect Project Manager to join its growing team in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys leading projects from concept through construction while working alongside a collaborative and design-focused team.
Responsibilities
- Manage architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
- Coordinate project teams, consultants, and client communication.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Produce and oversee technical documentation and construction drawings.
- Lead coordination with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Review project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio environment.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and construction administration activities as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Proven experience managing projects from design through construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation and detailing.
- Proficiency in Revit; experience with other industry-standard software is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Architectural licensure is preferred but not required.
