Senior Façade Lead * Major Construction Projects * Dublin & Kildare
An established construction organisation delivering landmark developments across Ireland is seeking an experienced Façade Lead to take ownership of the external envelope package on a portfolio of large-scale projects.
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing delivery team working on technically challenging schemes where quality, innovation and programme management are central to success.
The Role
You will act as the focal point for all façade-related activities from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring seamless coordination between design teams, specialist subcontractors and site management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of curtain walling, cladding, glazing and external envelope packages.
- Coordinating interfaces between the façade package and adjoining trades to minimise clashes and programme delays.
- Managing design information, technical submissions and approval processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Driving procurement schedules and monitoring long lead items to maintain programme milestones.
- Overseeing mock-ups, inspections, testing regimes and quality assurance procedures.
- Working closely with design teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring installation progress and ensuring best practice standards are maintained on site.
- Using digital construction tools and field management platforms to track inspections, quality checks and issue resolution.
- Managing defect close-out processes and supporting smooth project handovers.
- Assessing scope changes and assisting with the commercial management of variations where required.
- Ensuring all project documentation, certification and handover information is completed to the required standard.
About You
- Demonstrated experience delivering façade or building envelope packages on major construction projects.
- Strong understanding of cladding systems, glazing, curtain walling and façade interfaces.
- Excellent coordination and subcontractor management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain programme objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant construction, engineering or trade qualification preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project delivery.
