Role Description This full-time Design Architect role at Axis Designs is a hybrid position based in Bhuj, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Design Architect will develop architectural concepts and detailed designs for restaurant and cafeteria interiors, ensuring that seating, fixtures, and equipment layouts meet client needs, safety standards, and brand requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing construction drawings, coordinating with internal design and production teams, and collaborating with clients to refine plans and specifications. The role also involves design management, overseeing project documentation, and supporting installation teams with clear guidance and technical details. The Design Architect will contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and help maintain consistency across multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Strong Architectural Design and Architecture skills, with experience in commercial or hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in Design Management, including coordination of project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation using relevant design software.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and materials suitable for high-traffic environments.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to manage multiple projects in a hybrid work setting.
- Experience with CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and basic project management tools is beneficial.
