Role Description This full-time Architect role at UXI Group is an on-site position based in Manchester. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, producing detailed drawings, and coordinating design documentation across project phases. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, meeting with clients to understand requirements, and ensuring designs align with project goals, budget, and regulatory standards. The role involves overseeing design integration with structural, mechanical, and digital systems, as well as supporting project management activities such as timelines, resourcing, and quality control. The Architect will contribute to design reviews, support site visits, and help maintain consistent communication among stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience delivering built or fully documented projects.
- Ability to collaborate on Integration of design solutions with engineering, technology, and other specialist disciplines.
- Experience with Project Management, including planning, coordination, and overseeing project milestones and deliverables.
- Familiarity with Software Development concepts or digital tools used in architectural workflows (e.g., BIM, parametric design, or integration with software platforms).
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and strong visual communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Professional degree in Architecture or a closely related field; professional registration or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
