Job Summary
The Architect will be responsible for architectural planning, design development, technical drawings, site inspections, and construction coordination. The role requires strong design capabilities, technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings.
- Prepare 2D and 3D architectural designs and visual presentations.
- Review project plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, authority requirements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate architectural requirements with civil, structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and design compliance.
- Identify design issues and provide practical technical solutions.
- Prepare construction details, material specifications, and finish schedules.
- Support interior space planning, furniture layouts, and space optimization.
- Review contractor drawings, material submissions, and design modifications.
- Attend project and construction coordination meetings.
- Maintain accurate design documentation and complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
- Ensure architectural work meets quality, safety, budget, and project requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a similar architectural role.
- Experience working on industrial, commercial, facility, or civil construction projects is preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and authority requirements.
- Previous experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong knowledge of SketchUp and 3ds Max.
- Experience with BIM processes and architectural modelling.
- Proficiency in Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign is an advantage.
- Strong architectural drafting, detailing, and visualization skills.
