Front-End Design Architect (Perth)
DKO is seeking a talented Front-End Design Architect to join our Perth studio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a design-focused Architect with strong Australian project experience and a passion for creating exceptional multi-residential and mixed-use developments. Working alongside a highly regarded design team, you'll play a key role in feasibility studies, concept design and design development on complex, high-profile projects across Perth and beyond.
Responsibilities
• Contribute to feasibility, concept design and design development phases of projects
• Develop innovative architectural design solutions across multi-residential and mixed-use projects
• Prepare presentation material, design narratives and client presentations
• Collaborate with Project Leaders, consultants and internal design teams
• Participate in design workshops, client meetings and project reviews
• Assist in the coordination of planning and development approval submissions
• Support the delivery of high-quality architectural outcomes aligned with DKO's design standards
• Maintain a strong understanding of local planning controls and design requirements
About You
• Degree-qualified Architect or Graduate Architect
• Experience working on Australian multi-residential projects is essential
• Strong front-end design capability with exposure to concept design and design development
• Ability to communicate and present design ideas effectively
• Strong design and graphic presentation skills
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD preferred but not required
• Understanding of local planning frameworks and development processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Passion for architecture, urban design and creating high-quality places
