EMA provides masterplanning, urban design, architectural and technical services to a wide range of landowners, developers and public sector clients throughout Scotland.
We are seeking individuals who have a passion for urban design, housing and placemaking to join our longstanding and committed Planning and Design Team. Your enthusiasm is as important as your experience, and depending on your skillset you could be designing masterplans and housing layouts, developing detailed designs, preparing design & access statements and submitting LDP reps.
We work in a fast-paced dynamic environment where we focus on quality of output, project delivery and client satisfaction. Current projects include Edinburgh's Garden District and Meadowbank in Edinburgh, Drumchapel and Tollcross in Glasgow, and Findrassie and Pinewood in Moray and Aberdeen, amongst many other short and long term strategic projects across Scotland. Our work is incredibly varied and can involve working on a development of flats in the city one week and a masterplan for a strategic urban expansion the next.
Our office is in Charlotte Square in the centre of Edinburgh, where we work together as a team and finish at lunchtime on a Friday.
