Griha Designs & Engineering is a multidisciplinary design firm working across architecture, engineering, and land development, with residential, commercial, and land development projects in both Nepal and the USA.
We are looking for a technically strong Revit professional who can independently manage BIM modeling, coordination, and documentation across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate is proactive, inquisitive, detail-oriented, and capable of developing accurate, well-organized, and coordinated architectural and engineering BIM models with minimal guidance.
This role is also an opportunity to help shape our BIM standards, develop efficient Revit workflows and libraries, and train and support fellow team members. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and gradually take on greater responsibility in BIM leadership and technical management.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain accurate architectural and engineering BIM models using Revit
• Manage model organization, project setup, views, sheets, worksets, linked models, and Revit standards
• Create, modify, and manage Revit families, templates, and project resources
• Set up and maintain a well-organized company Revit library
• Develop efficient BIM workflows to improve modeling, documentation, coordination, and team productivity
• Coordinate architectural models with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and consultant models
• Identify and resolve modeling conflicts, coordination issues, and inconsistencies between disciplines
• Support preparation of coordinated permit and construction documents
• Perform QA/QC reviews of BIM models, drawings, and project documentation
• Train and support architects, engineers, junior modelers, and other team members in Revit and BIM workflows
• Proactively research and solve technical and Revit-related problems with minimal guidance
• Help develop and maintain company-wide BIM standards and best practices.
• Any other company- or project-related tasks.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum two years of professional experience working with BIM and Revit
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
• Strong understanding of Revit modeling, families, templates, sheets, schedules, linked models, and project organization
• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and multidisciplinary coordination
• Ability to handle assigned BIM projects and solve problems with minimal guidance
• Proactive, inquisitive, organized, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability and willingness to train and support fellow team members
• Willingness to commit long-term and grow into a technical leadership role
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience developing Revit libraries, templates, families, BIM standards, and efficient workflows
• Experience coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP Revit models
• Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection
• Knowledge of Navisworks or similar BIM coordination software
• Experience with worksharing, worksets, linked models, and collaborative Revit environments
• Experience preparing permit and construction documents using Revit
• Experience working on international or USA-based projects
• Experience training or mentoring other Revit users
• Ability to guide junior staff and participate in QA/QC of models, drawings, and designs
