McMahon Associates is seeking a licensed Architect with 7+ years of experience to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to lead a diverse mix of industrial, manufacturing, food processing and commercial, projects while working alongside an integrated team of architects, engineers, and project professionals.

Responsibilities
- Lead architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
- Develop project concepts, programming documents, schematic designs, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and process engineering disciplines.
- Prepare and oversee architectural drawings and technical documentation.
- Perform design related tasks such as, but not limited to, building design & code review, bidding phase related tasks, and construction administration
- Review project documentation for quality, completeness, and constructability.
- Evaluate materials, systems, and building technologies to support project goals and meet client’s needs.
- Continually monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Develop and/or maintain client relationships
- Provide professional mentorship to early career staff.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional architectural experience.
- Licensed Architect in the State of Wisconsin.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Autodesk Revit is required
- Demonstrated experience leading projects through planning, design, construction documentation, and construction administration.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial building codes and permitting processes.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or rendering software.
- LEED Accredited Professional or experience with sustainable design initiatives.
