About the Role
We are looking for a Structural Engineer – Facades to join our team at Extrucoat in a full-time, on-site role.
The position is focused on performing structural calculations and analysis for façade systems, ensuring their safety and structural performance, and developing practical engineering solutions for different construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of façade systems.
- Conduct structural analysis considering wind loads, dead loads, stresses, deflections and other relevant design requirements.
- Analyze structural performance of aluminum, glass and façade components.
- Develop safe, efficient and technically sound structural solutions according to project requirements.
- Prepare calculations, technical reports and engineering documentation.
- Present and discuss proposed structural solutions with project and technical teams.
- Collaborate with design, technical and other cross-functional teams throughout different project stages.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in façade, curtain wall, glazing or aluminum systems.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience performing structural calculations.
- Knowledge of SAP2000, MEPLA, SAFLEX or similar structural analysis software.
- CAD knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Experience within the façade, aluminum extrusion or architectural systems industry is a must.
