Bart's Electric | Liberty, MO | On-site | Full-time
About Us
Bart's Electric is a full-service commercial electrical and special systems contractor headquartered in Liberty, MO. We build the projects that matter — data centers, hospitals, airports, military bases, and arenas — and we've built a reputation for giving customers more service than they paid for.
We're a merit shop that believes in building people. We invest in training, promote on performance rather than tenure, and back it up with real advancement paths. Safety is our top priority and our record reflects it.
The Role
We're looking for a BIM Coordinator to own the modeling and coordination side of our electrical projects. You'll build and maintain the models, run clash detection, and work directly with project teams and other trades to keep our work accurate from design all the way through installation.
This isn't a drafting seat. You'll own the coordination process, not just the model.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems on large commercial projects
- Run clash detection, track issues to resolution, and coordinate fixes with other trades
- Perform quality checks and audits on models before they hit the field
- Partner with project teams to build BIM into how projects actually get delivered
- Keep models and processes aligned with industry standards and our internal protocols
- Help develop BIM execution plans on new projects
- Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools and workflows
What You Bring
- Proven BIM coordination experience on commercial construction projects
- Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks
- Hands-on clash detection and model quality control experience
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to hold other trades accountable
- Ability to manage multiple projects and hit deadlines
- Detail-oriented with real problem-solving instincts
Nice to have: broader construction industry background, experience with ACC or similar model-hosting platforms, and familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month after hire
- Company-paid $25,000 life insurance policy
- 401(k) with a full 5% employer match
- PTO plus six paid holidays
- Short and long-term disability, critical illness, and other supplemental options
- Real advancement paths and a company that promotes from within

To ensure that our services and culture continue to incorporate everyone's perspectives and experiences, we never discriminate based on race, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age or marital, veteran or disability status.
