Cambrian is hiring a California-licensed architect to join our Los Angeles team full-time. Our team has software engineers that build architectural support software and you will collaborate with them.
We are a technology-driven residential developer building homes throughout Los Angeles. We are bringing architectural design and permitting in-house and are looking for a licensed architect who can take professional responsibility for residential permit sets and work directly with LADBS.
Responsibilities include: overseeing and reviewing architectural drawing sets; preparing and signing/stamping documents under the architect’s responsible control; responding to LADBS plan-check comments; coordinating structural, MEP, Title 24 and other consultants;
Requirements: active California Architect license; working knowledge of California residential building codes; ability to produce and review construction documents; AutoCAD or Revit proficiency; and willingness to work in-person in our Marina Del Rey office in Los Angeles.
Prior LADBS experience is preferred but not required. We care more about technical ability, speed, curiosity, and willingness to collaborate with software engineers in the company.
Compensation: $80,000–$105,000/year, depending on experience.
