Role Description The facades Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing façade structural systems for building projects, ensuring safety, performance, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day activities include performing structural calculations, conducting structural analysis for various façade materials and systems, preparing and reviewing technical drawings and CAD models, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate façade designs with the overall building structure. The role also involves preparing technical reports, participating in design reviews, supporting site inspections for façade-related structural issues, and resolving technical queries during construction. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nasr City.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with a clear understanding of building behavior and façade systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Structural Analysis and Calculations to assess loads, material performance, and structural safety for façades.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for developing and reviewing façade-related drawings and models.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a master’s degree or specialized coursework in façade engineering is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local and international building codes, standards, and façade design guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in façade design, curtain walls, cladding systems, or related structural engineering work is preferred.
