We are seeking an Architect / Architectural Engineer to support the design and development of substation facilities and industrial infrastructure projects. This role involves working on construction packages, design coordination, and technical problem-solving across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop architectural/engineering designs and construction packages for substation and industrial projects
Perform code reviews, safety analysis, and design calculations
Coordinate with structural, electrical, HVAC, and other engineering teams
Prepare drawings, specifications, and 3D models
Review vendor submittals and support construction activities
Assist with RFPs, design documentation, and project coordination

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
3+ years of experience in commercial/industrial design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of building materials, codes, and construction documents.
Experience reviewing drawings and working with project teams.

Preferred

Experience with industrial or power/utility projects.
Knowledge of NYC Building Codes, ADA, and building envelope design.
Registered Architect (RA) or LEED certification.
Experience with 3D modeling.
