We are seeking an Architect / Architectural Engineer to support the design and development of substation facilities and industrial infrastructure projects. This role involves working on construction packages, design coordination, and technical problem-solving across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural/engineering designs and construction packages for substation and industrial projects
- Perform code reviews, safety analysis, and design calculations
- Coordinate with structural, electrical, HVAC, and other engineering teams
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and 3D models
- Review vendor submittals and support construction activities
- Assist with RFPs, design documentation, and project coordination
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial/industrial design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, codes, and construction documents.
- Experience reviewing drawings and working with project teams.
Preferred
- Experience with industrial or power/utility projects.
- Knowledge of NYC Building Codes, ADA, and building envelope design.
- Registered Architect (RA) or LEED certification.
- Experience with 3D modeling.
