Objective: Project Architect to lead the design and execution of large-scale mixed-use developments. The role requires expertise in projects spanning residential and commercial developments, along with hospitality and/or retail components.
The objective of this role is to conceptualize and deliver high-quality architectural solutions that integrate design excellence, functionality, and regulatory compliance, while aligning with the organization’s vision for premium, large-format developments.
Responsibilities:
1. Design Leadership & Concept Development:
- Lead architectural design across large-scale mixed-use developments (residential, commercial, hospitality, retail).
- Drive concept development with strong design thinking, ensuring translation of vision into practical, executable solutions.
- Develop and review design briefs in alignment with project objectives and market positioning.
2. Feasibility & Planning:
- Collaborate with internal teams to create feasibility studies, design strategies, and development programs.
- Apply robust knowledge of development regulations (including DP 2034) and planning frameworks.
- Ensure optimal utilization of land, FSI, and development potential.
3. Stakeholder Management & Coordination:
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and specialist agencies (both local and international)
- Liaise with municipal authorities and regulatory bodies to secure approvals and ensure compliance
- Work closely with internal leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on design intent and execution
- 4. Project Oversight & Execution:Oversee the architectural lifecycle from concept through design development and construction.
- Ensure design integrity is maintained through execution phases.
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks to ensure successful project delivery.
- 5. Strategic & Technical Input:Provide inputs on cost, constructability, and development strategy across projects.
- Balance luxury positioning with commercial viability across asset classes.
- Contribute to decision-making through a strong understanding of market trends and development dynamics.
6. Leadership & Communication
- Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Guide project teams and contribute to resource planning where required.
- Communicate effectively to resolve design, technical, and business challenges.
Qualifications and skill-sets:
- Bachelors of Architecture from a reputedinstitute; Masters of Architecture will be preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCad, InDesign etc with experience of preparing construction documents and beupdated on emerging technology platforms
- In-depth understanding about FSI drawing,BMC drawings, RERA compliances and other technicalities
- Proven, robust work experience of 8-18 years in real estate development in large scale mixed-use developments projects.
- Experience across Residential + Commercial, along with Hospitality and/or Retail components.
- Must be able to communicate design/construction intent via computer generated sketches.
- Express high degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people – contractors, architects, vendors, etc.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, coordination skills and strongcommunication skills
- Strong understanding of the projectmanagement process with the abilityto lead on site and manage execution even with multiple projects
- Reliable, focused, confident, articulate and self-directed with a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude.
