Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facade Engineer, based in Pune. The Facade Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing building facades, ensuring structural integrity, and optimizing performance related to building physics. The role will include collaboration with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop innovative, sustainable, and efficient facade systems that meet project specifications and comply with industry standards. The position involves providing technical expertise and delivering design solutions for various building envelope projects.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Facade Design, Building Envelope, and Facade systems
- Expertise in Structural Engineering principles and their application to facade systems
- Understanding of Building Physics concepts, including thermal performance and energy efficiency
- Proficiency in relevant design and analysis tools, and attention to detail in project documentation
- Problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams
- Previous experience in facade engineering or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
- Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices is highly desirable
