Job Summary:
Mobco Group is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Engineer – Architecture to manage the end-to-end procurement of architectural materials and subcontract packages for ongoing projects in Riyadh. The role demands strong knowledge of the Saudi supply chain, vendor landscape, and project-driven procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities for architectural materials including finishes, façade systems, doors, windows, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and fit-out packages.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and material submittals to identify procurement requirements.
- Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with project schedules.
- Source, evaluate, and prequalify vendors and subcontractors within the Saudi market.
- Float RFQs/RFPs, analyze technical and commercial bids, and prepare comparison reports.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost optimization.
- Coordinate with design, technical office, and site teams to ensure material compliance and approvals.
- Track material delivery, ensure adherence to timelines, and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
- Manage subcontractor procurement for architectural works and monitor performance.
- Ensure all procured materials meet project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Maintain procurement records, logs, and reporting for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual obligations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 10–12 years of experience in procurement of architectural materials within the Saudi construction market.
- Strong knowledge of local suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors in KSA.
- Solid understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and finishing materials.
- Proven experience in handling large-scale construction or fit-out projects.
- Strong negotiation, commercial awareness, and cost-control skills.
- Familiarity with procurement software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
