BEC Arabia is seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Architectural Engineer to ensure the highest quality standards across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring architectural works, ensuring compliance with specifications, and driving quality excellence across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and material submittals
- Ensure all architectural works comply with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Conduct inspections and monitor site activities related to architectural finishes and fit-out works
- Prepare and review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements
- Issue, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams on quality matters
- Monitor subcontractors’ performance and ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures
- Maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and records
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Support handover processes and final inspections
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering
- 7–12 years of experience in QA/QC for construction projects
- Strong experience in architectural finishes, fit-out, and façade works
- Solid knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation
- Experience working with main contractors or reputable construction firms
- Familiarity with international standards and project specifications
- Strong coordination and communication skills
